Our Family:

  • Hi there, we're a family of 5 living in a large home in Mt Eliza. We have three children; a boy (9yrs), a girl (6yrs) and another baby boy (16mths)... and our 4yo Bernese Mountain Dog. The two older children are at school during the day (different schools, but both close by) and the baby is home all day. Both parents working full time sometimes from home, sometimes at the offices in the city.

Your Duties:

  • The role we are looking for now is mostly caring for a 16mth old baby boy during the day, as well as school drop off / pick up (or both depending on hours) of the older two, and ferrying to any afterschool activities (e.g. soccer training). Hours would be 9am6pm, with the possibility of extending some evenings. Ideally own car would be used (we will provide car seats), as at times our vehicles will be required to be used by us during the day so we have found it to be simpler this way. Also expected in role is preparation of kids meals / snacks. Helping with homework. Bathing. Naps and assistance with children's clothes washing / keeping kids areas tidy within the house. No proper house cleaning expected, more things like unpacking dishwasher, putting toys away etc. would be amazing. We live in a nice big home with pool, tennis court and trampoline so plenty to keep the kids entertained with at home $28$33ph depending on formal qualifications and experience. These aren't required, but would increase rate. WWC and Police Check required and references preferred.

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • We have had three amazing nannies in the past, all of which were with us for 2+ years before moving into their career jobs. The kids have loved them, and we have been so thankful on the positive impact they have had on our family, and the amazing help they provided. The ideal nanny for us would be someone who is caring, calm, confident, organised, energetic and reliable. Driver's Licence, own car, WWC, First Aid and Police Check required. References preferred.
