**About the role**

We currently have an opportunity for an Operational Worker - Beach Cleaner to join our Business Centres team based out of the Alexandria Integrated Facility (AIF) commencing at 5:00am

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of cleaning and maintenance services of beaches, prominades and reserves within our Local Government Area including beach areas such as Camp Cove, Parsely Bay and others.

**About you**

**Essential Criteria**
- Current C Class licence
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of a team based work culture
- Ability to read and interpret a tidal chart
- Ability to perform labouring duties including heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a flexible manner
- Currently hold or able to successfully gain a Construction Induction White Card
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Council’s values
- Commitment to and understanding of WHS and EEO policies.

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience operating a tractor
- Experience operating beach cleaning machinery
- HR Licence
