Experienced Librarian - East Perth

DFP Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Librarian to come on board and collaborate with one of our esteemed state government clients based in East Perth. This is a remarkable opportunity, initially structured as a 3 to 6-month assignment with the potential for extension.

About the Role:
As a Librarian, you will be a driving force in cultivating a thriving library environment within our state government client's establishment.

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of duties, including:
Resource Management: Curating and organizing an extensive collection of resources to cater to the diverse informational needs of library users.

Patron Support: Providing expert guidance and assistance to library visitors in their research and inquiries.

Program Development: Collaborating with colleagues to design and execute captivating library programs that foster learning and community engagement.

Resource Accessibility: Ensuring seamless access to both physical and digital resources, facilitating exploration and education.

Information Literacy: Contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing patrons' research skills and promoting effective information utilization.

Operational Excellence: Assisting in administrative tasks to maintain the efficient and effective operation of the library.
