The successful applicant must be committed working towards achieving the following outcomes: - Manage and implement innovative strategies to implement the Queensland Government's partnership arrangements with the Australian Government in relation to governance, management of existing and nomination of new World Heritage areas in Queensland, in partnership with First Nations peoples, key stakeholders and other sectors of government. Manage and lead projects and teams, including financial and human resource oversight to ensure successful and timely delivery of outcomes that support the Department's strategic direction. Develop and implement project resourcing strategies and appraise and monitor performance to ensure project objectives achieved and communicated to all key stakeholders. Develop and maintain highly collaborative relationships with First Nations peoples, key stakeholders and other sectors of government integral to the success of projects and meeting obligations under the partnership arrangements. Provide high level expertise and advice to partners and stakeholders both internal and external to Government with respect to World Heritage, including briefings and Cabinet submissions.
