**About the Opportunity**:
We are looking for a proactive 3D Printing Technician to support our advanced manufacturing centre at our Swoop Aero Campus in Port Melbourne This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous 3D print manufacturing experience seeking to grow their career in a high-growth startup environment.

Reporting to the Head of Production, you will lead a variety of tasks, such as running 3D print farms, washing resin printed parts, installing fastener locations into 3D printed parts and maintaining consumable inventory levels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep Formlabs and Prusa print farms operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness by managing:

- Print queue
- Stock levels of all consumables, including gloves, resin, tanks, wipes etc.
- Hazardous waste procurement, storage and disposal
- Printer serviceability by executing scheduled maintenance
- Printer setup and configuration
- Manage version control and part configurations
- Maintain Individual component traceability
- Preparation of parts for assembly including
- Washing and curing of resin printed parts
- Support clearing of FDM printed parts
- Installing threaded inserts into prints

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Ability to demonstrate a sigh level of dexterity when working with hands
- Previous experience of use of 3D printers, use of Prussia Slicer or equivalent slicing software
- Knowledge of using different medias to print parts using traditional FDM printers and Resin printers
- Interest in growing your career with a leading startup
- High attention to detail
- Awareness of appropriate health and safety practices when working with 3D printing equipment
