We are seeking a talented Information Security Engineer/Forensic Analyst with specialized expertise in digital forensics tools and incident response to join our financial services client. As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in securing the institution's data and systems, ensuring they remain resilient against cyber threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conducting digital forensics investigations to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Utilizing a variety of digital forensics tools to analyse and extract evidence from different types of digital devices and storage media.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance incident response capabilities and develop response strategies.
- Analysing security incidents to determine the root cause, impact, and extent of the breach.
- Developing and documenting incident response procedures and best practices.
- Assisting in the implementation of security measures to prevent future incidents.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and digital forensics methodologies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital forensics tools such as EnCase, Autopsy, The Sleuth Kit, Volatility, and Wireshark.
- Strong experience in incident response and handling various security incidents.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) are advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
