About the Role

Reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader, we are currently seeking experienced, solutions focused Talent Acquisition Specialist (based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra) to help grow our new Defence & Aerospace offering with a strong focus on networking and building new business in your state. We use our strategic advantage, knowledge, capability and networks to uncover and nurture the best defence talent in the market. Our experienced Defence specialists across Australia combine their unparalleled market insight with a vast network of connections, developing deep pools of engaged talent for our client’s key and critical permanent roles. Combined with our quality assured best practice assessment and selection approach, Manpower delivers cost-effective, high-quality results that see our clients source the right talent, with the right skills, at the right time.

Your daily tasks include:

- Further develop your defence recruitment and market knowledge
- Develop your personal brand and attend regular defence networking events
- Negotiate and close commercial terms and conditions with clients aligned to company policy
- Deliver to client expectations

- Individuals who can demonstrate MPG's values, people, knowledge and innovation in your daily work, the interactions you have and the way you behave in the ManpowerGroup workforce. - Previous local experience in defence recruitment
- Be able to utilize existing local relationships with industry in your state
- You must be an Australian Citizen
- Ability to introduce and manage innovative staffing solutions
- Persuasion & influencing skills
- Strong business development and relationship building skills
- Solid organisational skills
- Possess that drive and hunger to chase new defence business
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- You will be flexible and agile, solutions focused, ambitious, honest, resilient and a general high energy go getter
