**John Fawkner Private Hospital** are seeking an **ANUM** to join our **Emergency Department** in this **Permanent Full-Time** opportunity (Part time opportunity can be discussed)

**About us**
John Fawkner Private Hospital is located in the north west of Melbourne. With 186 registered beds, a 12 cubicle Emergency Department, 5 operating theatres, 12 bed critical care complex and busy Day Procedure Unit the hospital provides a wide range of services to its community. The hospital specialises in critical care service, orthopaedics, general surgery, general medicine, oncology, cardiology, urology, plastic surgery, neuro surgery and gynaecology.

**About the role**:
This opportunity will see you lead, coach, mentor and support our busy 12 cubicle emergency department. Operating across a 24/7 roster, this role will encompass a range of shifts including
- Mornings: 07.00-15.00
- Afternoons: 14.15-12.15
- Nights: 21.45-07.15

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide oversight to ensure the delivery of evidence based patient centred care
- Maintain a safe, high-performing and sustainable unit by visibly leading a values and fostering a safety-led workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure a collaborative team environment
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Management of all resources (Budgets, Labour hours)

**Essential Criteria**:

- Prior leadership experience
- Demonstrated nursing experience in a critical care environment
- Post Graduate Critical Care Certificate
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to communicate with influence
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management

**Remuneration**:
If you are successful, you will receive a salary as per Healthscope VIC Nurses and Midwives Agreement 2021-2025 for years of nursing experience at the ANUM rate of $51.77 - $53.55 per hour.
