**The Hospital**

You will be working in an acute medical and surgical hospital conveniently located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The facility has 240 registered beds, a 24 hour Emergency, ICON Cancer Centre, state of the art cardiac services and a wide range of on-site medical, surgical and allied health services.

**Your Main Duties**

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be coordinating patient care, acting as a resource for clinical & ward management and a leader in the clinical specialty. You may often act as a second-in-command to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and may take on a leadership role in the NUM's absence. You will supervise and guide the nursing staff, ensuring that they adhere to hospital policies, maintain patient safety, and deliver high-quality care.

**To be eligible for the position, you must have the following**:

- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
- National Crime Check or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain
