At Vestas Australia, we are currently seeking a well-qualified mature Electrical and Mechanicial Technicians that will help assist across AUNZ on multiple sites by providing and engaging in the operation and maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators. The main focus of the role is to conduct the Continuous Improvement Management (CIM) tasks across all windfarms within AUNZ. This current recruitment round will see 3 Mechanical and 3 Electrical techs joining the team.

This position will sit within the Service division. As this role would require the Technician to work consistently on the road and across multiple site locations, the successful applicant would ideally have worked in a similar capacity or have the mental toughness or maturity that a Travelling Wind Turbine Technician would require. You will work on an 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster and should be based near a major airport to facilitate easy access to and from our numerous work sites.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and complete all CIM related works on various windfarms across AUNZ
- Continuously identify potential troubles in the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and actively contribute to operation improvements to help us build a brand worthy of reliable services and high performing turbines fleets
- Conduct timely scheduled maintenances, respond and troubleshoot turbine issues
- Complete all service reports and associated documentation on a daily basis;
- Complete and have signed off daily work sheets by your supervisor / manager
- Reporting opportunities for continuous improvement
- Undertake operations and maintenance within the limits of training and authorization including operation of HV and LV
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Understand each work scope, read and validate necessary service work instruction
- Identify required tools and parts for each assigned work and conduct re-certification of equipment and tools
- Maintain all company vehicles and plant and equipment in good clean condition;
- Responsible to check availability of all required tools and parts prior actual work day, participate toolbox and daily work team briefings
- Observing all work instructions, procedures, safety codes of practice, employer OH&S and Environmental requirements and statutory rules and regulations
- Uphold site safety protocols to all Vestas onsite personnel and visitors
- Promoting and actively participate in 5S and LEAN

**Qualifications**
- Fully qualified Licensed Electrician or Mechanic
- Demonstrated experience in working in an electrical trade environment, preferably working with WTGs
- Experience in working across multiple site locations
- Experience in commissioning WTGs
- Familiar with Windows OS and MS Office, SAP
- Possess license to work on high voltage / rigging and dogging and/or forklifts
- GWO certification
- LOTO 2 or able to acquire (Electricians)
- Vestas SE B Level - TR V112_Mk3_Cubepower certification highly regarded
