**Why Your Role Matters**:
The External Engagement Coordinator supports the delivery of external engagement activities for UNSW Art & Design within the UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Faculty (ADA). The position will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of initiatives and activities that enhance the reputation and external engagement of UNSW Art & Design. The position plays a significant role in building the School’s profile and assisting the Senior External Engagement Manager to identify, engage and manage relationships and networks with the UNSW Art & Design community.
The role reports to the Senior External Engagement Manager, UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture and has no direct reports.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with communications, marketing or relationship management experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of relevant education, training and/or experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong writing and visual production skills for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated successful experience in stakeholder engagement and developing relationships.
- Proven ability to implement strategic plan, projects and initiatives to increase outreach or engagement with key audiences
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
- Experience in promotional or communications in tertiary education or similar professional environment.
- Experience using CRM/ relationship management systems and databases.
