To continue our success story and to ensure sustainable growth we are looking for a driven, motivated and open-minded individual for the position of Import Coordinator.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and oversee the import/export of goods and materials between the head office and local branches, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, customs documentation, and payment details.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with local purchasing teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers and vendors, seeking to secure the best possible deals for the company.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to streamline operations and reduce expenses.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform purchasing decisions and identify new suppliers or products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimising supply chain operations.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods.
- Maintain a strong understanding of import/export regulations and requirements, and work to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Your Profile**:

- Relevant inventory, sales and distribution systems
- 3+ years experience in purchasing/procurement
- Proactive and takes the initiative; able to get things done in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accurate Data Entry skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Solid organisational skills with a structured work approach
- Experience using MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in English (writing and speaking)
