**About the Opportunity**

A permanent position has become available within our Anatomical Pathology (General and FNA Cytology) department for an experienced Cytologist.

**Applicants should possess the following**:

- Relevant degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent and Cytologist CT(ASC) qualification essential;
- Experience in general cytology reporting essential;
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills;
- Experience in Endobronchial ultrasound fine needle aspiration (EBUS FNA) and Rapid on-site cytology evaluation (ROSE) desirable;
- An expectation that out of normal hours work may be required in keeping with the operational needs of the department; and
- You will be required to receive the COVID 19 vaccination in order to perform this role and provide copy of certificate.
