About the Opportunity

A permanent position has become available within our Anatomical Pathology (General and FNA Cytology) department for an experienced Cytologist.

Applicants should possess the following:

• Relevant degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent and Cytologist CT(ASC) qualification essential;
• Experience in general cytology reporting essential;
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills;
• Experience in Endobronchial ultrasound fine needle aspiration (EBUS FNA) and Rapid on-site cytology evaluation (ROSE) desirable;
• An expectation that out of normal hours work may be required in keeping with the operational needs of the department; and
• You will be required to receive the COVID 19 vaccination in order to perform this role and provide copy of certificate.
