**Your new role**

We have an opportunity for a Platform Security Lead to join us on a Continuing (Permanent) Full time basis. This is a newly created role, where you will be responsible for providing sound IT Security Management advice and implementing key strategies relating to security.

You will be managing Platform Security across architecture, design and quality control and you will play an active role in contributing to our roadmap to ensure the security domain is not neglected. You’ll provide technical leadership to engineers through secure code reviews, solution reviews, technical guidance, training and advice surrounding best practice. Further, you will be involved in implementing security policies and procedures and ensuring this adheres to relevant standards.

**Key requirements**:

- Strong technical leadership skills and previous experience with cloud computing technologies.
- A relevant degree with extensive relevant experience or a combination of experience and or education/training.
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile/Scrum/SAFE environment.
- Programming background in at least ONE Language: C++, Java, Python, Ruby etc.
- Significant experience with industry compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST/DoD, ASD Essential 8, COBIT.
- IT Compliance and risk management experience
- WAF, IPS and anti-DDOS systems experience.
- Technical writing skills for documenting environments and procedures.
- Experience with network / perimeter security platforms.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- ONE of the certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 LA/LI, SANS
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- AWS Security - Specialty
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
