**Our commitment to your development**:
During the first few weeks you will complete a comprehensive and immersive remote training program, led by our highly experienced training team, to set you up for success in your role. The program includes a virtual classroom, e-learning, product and knowledge training, and gives you access to our state-of-the-art knowledge base system, "Know-It". Your learning and development doesn’t stop there, we keep our teams small to support you in what can sometimes be a tough role to ensure we always support you. We give frequent coaching from both our dedicated coaches and Team Leader’s and want to help you realise to your potential and will be there every step of the way

**Your new role**:
The role of a
**Retention Consultant** is to understand why customers are looking to leave Bupa and to retain them as a customer. Customers may be dropping their private health insurance all together or switching to another fund. We try to retain our members through having a detailed conversation where we connect and understand them and their families’ situation/needs, ultimately presenting a tailored solution.

You will be working fulltime equating to 38 hours per week Monday - Friday on a rotational roster between 8am-8pm AEST.

**About you**:

- You have a passion for helping people and are naturally empathetic. With your unique desire to help our customers you will ensure they are always satisfied. In addition:

- You’re quite resilient with ability to take one call after another
- You’ll be a team player who is punctual and happy to step in for your teammates when needed
- Have recent customer service experience in a related environment
- The ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a disciplined virtual environment
- Mature attitude to your work with sensitivity to our customer’s confidential information
- A passion for Customer Service with experience in a related environment
- Have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be tech savvy with the ability to work across multiple IT platforms and screens effortlessly
- Already have or the ability to obtain NBN internet that has bandwidth of 50mbps or greater
