**About the Revenue Operations team**
Our team, which sits within the Finance Department, is responsible for the accurate collection and identification of patient classifications and billing, debtor follow up and reconciliation across the Women’s. The team works cohesively to ensure a professional patient experience through the various revenue pathways, utilising up to date data and processes whilst always being open to identify opportunities for improvement.
**About the role**
As the Cashier/Receipting Officer you will play a vital role in our team and undertake the management of receipting, banking, payment plans, and taking payments both in person and over the phone.
A regular day will see you:
- Receipt cash takings into financial, patient account and billing systems including Microsoft Great Plains, Merlin, Karisma, Zedmed and IPM
- Accept payments and enquiries from patients and staff, via telephone or over the counter
- Issue receipts and balance end of day takings against transactional reports
- Assist the Financial Accounting team with bank reconciliation queries

**About you**
You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys working with people, and is tech savvy with a keen eye for numbers.
You’ll bring with you:
- 2+ years previous experience in receipting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping or similar role
- Familiarity with systems and databases and accurate data entry skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to relate to all types of stakeholders
- An interest in continuous improvement and automating processes
