**About the role**
This is a permanent, full time, Monday to Friday position working
**35 hours** per week. Located at theNowra Administration Building.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Unit Manager Projects and Assets, the focus of this position is to:

- Ensure clear processes and procedures for the collection and handover of Asset Data information for population into GIS and Asset Register.
- Innovative usage of Asset Data to improve Shoalhaven Water processes.
- Provide support and training in Asset Data to Shoalhaven Water staff.
- Recognition of Capital, Contributed and Founds assets into Asset Register and GIS.
- Manage the Asset Data team to ensure staff are skilled to update Shoalhaven Water’s GIS and Asset Register.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:
**Essential Qualifications, Licences and Experience**
- Tertiary qualification in asset management or data management.
- Relevant experience in the Water Industry or large multidisciplinary employer.
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship.

**Essential Technical Skills**
- Asset data management skills of a high level
- An understanding of Asset Accounting
- Supervisory experience, preferably in a data management environment
- Ability to collaborate and share information with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to provide relevant input into long term infrastructure strategies and plans
- Ability to communicate technical aspects of the asset management processes effectively to multiple levels of stakeholders verbally and in written reports
- Ability to self-manage effectively to ensure timeframes and non-negotiable deadlines are met
