**About the role**
This is a **permanent**, **full-time**, Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm position working **35 hours** per week. This position is located at the **Shoalhaven Water Operations Depot - South Nowra**.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Assets & Portfolio Manager, the focus of this position is to:

- Support the Assets and Portfolio team in planning, implementation and delivery of asset management systems and processes for Shoalhaven Water
- Manage the Configuration of the Water asset register to ensure it meets the requirements of the business.
- Manage the Configuration of the Water Works Management system to ensure it meets the requirements of the business.
- Manage the Asset Management System to ensure accuracy of databases, and ensure legislative requirements are met.
- Ensure all Shoalhaven Water staff have avenues for providing, reviewing, and utilising asset data information.
- Ensure that asset data (including geospatial data) processes are accurate, complete, current, and incorporated into Asset Management Plans (AMPs) to meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Manage projects to progress Shoalhaven Water’s Asset Management Maturity
- Coordinate the revaluation of assets for Shoalhaven Water to meet regulatory requirements
- Coordinate asset management reporting for Shoalhaven Water
- Coordinate the development of maintenance and renewal programs across Shoalhaven Water’s assets

**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Tertiary qualification in data management (Science, Engineering, or Information Technology); or equivalent extensive experience in asset data management in the Water Industry.
- High level Asset Data Management skills
- Relevant experience in the Water Industry or large multidisciplinary employer.
- Strong understanding of Asset Accounting
- Supervisory experience, preferably in a data management environment
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills to the extent necessary to liaise with and provide advice / service to customers, contractors, consultants, and senior officers.
- Demonstrated written communication skills to the extent necessary to prepare correspondence, reports, and project documents for a range of audiences.
- Demonstrated success in guiding and coaching others, promoting continuous learning, and actively seeking solutions for workplace improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate a broad range of information sources to develop a “big picture” understanding while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage effectively to ensure time frames and non-negotiable deadlines are met
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
