We are looking for a suitably qualified **Landfill & Machinery Operator **to join the team. You will be responsible for carrying out the operational and administrative duties relating to the operations of the Jackson Street Waste Management Centre (JSWMC) and a range of other activities associated with the operation of the site.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery at a landfill site or similar work environment.
- Ability to operate machinery in a way that promotes “best practise” waste disposal and waste minimisation.
- Experience and knowledge on landfill and recycling operations.

**Qualifications required**:

- Current Drivers Licence
- HR and plant operator’s licence/certification
- Traffic Control accreditation
- Chemical handling certification
- Controlled waste (asbestos) handling certification.

**Position Hours**:Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.

**Salary range**:$64,500.94 to $67,889.70 plus superannuation
