Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city. ?Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.
**About the Role**:
The Workplace Relations Manager is responsible for leadership of the Workplace Relations team, having oversight of industrial & employee relations, and business partnering, employment administration and reporting. The Workplace Relations Manager will also partner with the People and Culture Leadership team to lead organisational change projects or other people and culture initiatives.
**Duties**:
- Lead and manage the Workplace Relations Team including oversight of industrial & employee relations, and business partnering, employment administration and reporting.
- Develop and implement the Workplace Relations Plan with support from the Workplace Relations team
- Work with VHIA to lead the bargaining of enterprise agreements Forensicare is respondent to.
- Lead the implementation of enterprise agremeents Forensicare is respondent to once appproved by the Fair Work Commission
- Act as employee representitive and advocate the employer position where required at various dispute resolution tribunals including the Fair Work Commission
- Lead and Support the Manager, Business Partner to lead coach and develop the Business Partnering Team.
- Review and develop P&C policies, procudures and guidelines
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentation to the Forensicare P&C Board and others as required.
**About You**:
- Experience in the Health Industry highly regarded
- Proven people leader
- Demonstrated experience in a complex Industrial Relations and Employee Relations environement
- Significant experience in providing high level of strategic advice to a Senior Leadership group
- A tertiary qualification in industrial relations/employment law would be highly regarded
