**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Responsible for high quality customer service and tenancy management to Councils social housing tenants and applicants through effective administration and communication with social housing tenants and applicants.
- Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- undertaking timely and accurate processing of tenancy management actions,
- early identification of changes to tenancies,
- undertaking actions to ensure tenancy agreements are in place,
- assisting community housing tenants with reporting of maintenance issues,
- ensuring that all tenants are paying the correct rent; and
- management of Councils Register of Need.

**_ To be considered for this position you must have:_**
- Possess an unrestricted Class "C" Queensland Driver's Licence
- Minimum Certificate II qualification in business administration or related field.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar position.

**_ Desirable:_**
- Local government administration experience would be highly desirable.
- Property administration experience would be highly desirable.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of languages specific to the Torres Strait including: Meriam Mer, Kala Lagaw Ya, and Creole would be highly desirable.
