About the role:
The client is seeking a skilled Leasing Paralegal with a commitment to providing accessible and high-quality eye and hearing care, to join their dynamic legal team. The role is for a short-term assignment covering 4-6 weeks.

Some of your responsibilities are to:

- Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements for retail locations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including real estate and finance teams, to facilitate lease execution
- Ensure all lease agreements adhere to relevant legal standards and industry-specific requirements
- Provide support in lease negotiation processes, working closely with senior legal professionals
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all lease agreements and related legal documentation
- Effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal colleagues, fostering clear understanding and collaboration
- Utilize legal technology tools for document management, contract review, and lease tracking

About you:
You are interested in being apart of a growing retail brand and influencing over the duration of your assignment. You have experience across leasing and are interesting in bringing your knowledge to the business.

Some of the skills and experience you may have acquired that will help you succeed in this role are:

- Experience in a legal environment preferably in the areas of property or leasing.
- An ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Experience in navigating property management or legal platforms - lease eagle experience desirable.
- Able to read and interpret lease agreements.
- Preferably has Lease Eagle experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Consistently meets and exceeds deadlines.
