The Learning Manager role works in partnership with the Head of Sales and the Head of Medical to deliver capability development solutions for Bayer field teams and is accountable for the delivery of learning outcomes, aligned to strategy.

The Learning Manager defines, designs, delivers, and evaluates learning and development programs to support customer engagement excellence for field-based teams.

- Partner with brand squads, Head of Sales, and Head of Medical Affairs & Pharmacovigilance to understand the future capability requirements of the sales and medical organisation
- Define the annual learning strategy to support field-based team capability building across all portfolios
- Design, develop and deliver effective adult learning solutions to address learning needs, using global and local content
- Foster a learning culture where everyone takes accountability for their own learning and development
- Develop and deliver strategic learning initiatives that build in field capability
- Partner with global and APAC learning teams to optimize use of the Bayer Capability Framework
- Proactively identify and provide recommendations to address capability gaps
- Foster the usage of digital / online technologies for learning & development purposes
- Ensure learning outcomes are measured in a systematic and quantitative way
- Develop and maintain understanding of 3rd party providers for learning solution delivery and manage relationships with vendors
- Be a culture creator and actively foster a culture where innovation, diverse thinking and high performance can flourish

**_ Does this sound like you?_**:

- Previous experience in a sales / field-based capability, training or learning and development role
- Experience and evidence of classroom and online learning design creation leading to lasting behaviour change
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead and empower high performing field teams to work in an agile and collaborative way
- Applied understanding of adult learning principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present complex ideas to a non-technical audience
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse and geographically dispersed team
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation in strategy and execution, finding the right balance in working strategically and operationally
- Excellent business partnering skills with the ability to influence across boundaries with a broad range of cross functional local, regional, and global stakeholders
- Medicines Australia Code of Conduct certification
- An applied understanding of the Australian and New Zealand pharmaceutical landscape
