Our client is a rapidly expanding Australian tech company with 55,000 customers ranging from SME's to ASX-listed companies. This is an exceptional opportunity to join their Marketing team as it continues to expand as the business moves to the next level of it's growth.
- Reporting to the GM Marketing, this role is responsible for planning, organising and executing on a wide range of events including external conferences, product launches, webinars and social events.
- Specific duties will include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. sales) to understand strategies and target markets before developing appropriate events strategies
- Planning, organising and delivering high quality events across Australia
- Preparing required collateral for events and webinars (including presentations, name badges, booth signage, materials/handouts)
- Overseeing all on-site event operations including setup, pack down, registration and catering
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure events achieve their strategic objective and provide return on investment
- Sourcing, evaluating and managing vendors (e.g. caterers, audio-visual providers)
- Preparing and distributing event communications through CRM (salesforce) including invitations, confirmations and reminders
- Ordering merchandise for events and monitoring stock levels
- Developing and managing the events and webinars calendar that align with key market segments and business goals
- Providing briefs to event speakers
- Conducting post-even evaluations to assess event success via surveys and gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Project management of webinars including sourcing speakers and providing run sheets
- Publishing and updating information on landing pages on company website for webinars and events
- Establishing and managing relationships with industry associations
- Developing, managing and evaluating sponsorships

To be considered for this exciting role you will be someone with 3-5 years experience in corporate event management. Sponsorship management and negotiation experience is preferred. The role requires strong attention to detail along with solid organisational skills and you will have highly developed communication skills with proven ability to own projects and show initiative.- Remuneration guide for this position is $83,000 + Super.
