**About the role**

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Screen & Media students

Share your skills and passion for your industry, build the skills, qualifications, and employability, and support the career goals of our students.

TAFE NSW is looking for creative and motivated individuals who wish to be considered for casual teaching opportunities in Screen & Media at either Strathfield or Coffs Harbour Education (CHEC) campuses. The teaching will be delivered virtually.

**Please note in this role you must be available for at least 2 days a week (specific days are negotiable).**

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will be passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience in Screen & Media and willing to collaborate more widely across the TAFE Digital team.

As a dedicated educator at TAFE NSW, you will assist, mentor, and enrich the learning journey. Through the delivery of educational programs and facilitating the acquisition of Screen & Media qualifications, you will inspire students by sharing your expertise and passion for the industry.

**To be considered for the role you will have**:

- Minimum Diploma or higher in Screen & Media or in a relevant field
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

**HIGHLY REGARDED**
- High level written skills for facilitation of Journalism units
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with working with remotely dispersed teams
