**Join our Allied Health Team in the Women's and Children's Division**

The Administrative Officer is accountable for provision of comprehensive administrative and reception services to Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy staff, patients, University of SA and Flinders University teaching staff and students. This enables the department to provide effective and efficient clinical services for clients in the southern area, and fulfil significant teaching commitments.

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Administration Coordinator, this role supports effective management of reception and patient books. Duties for the role will include:

- Processing patient referrals and bookings
- Providing reception services to patients attending, welcoming them upon arrival and providing information about their appointment
- General administrative assistance, including but not limited to answering office phone, processing stationery orders, assisting with scanning and faxing.

This role is expected to move from FMC to the Mark Oliphant Building in October to specifically support Paediatric Allied Health Services. Any changes to duties and role description will be discussed with any occupant in due course.

**About you**:

- Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively and tactfully relate to the public, patients and staff.
- Ability to resolve (or escalate as needed) problems, including patient complaints and manage small projects.
- Ability to effectively and appropriately manage workloads. This includes setting and managing task prioritization work when working in times of high demand.
