- Relevant Tertiary qualifications and related professional qualification/membership
- Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards relating to capital, liquidity, and securitisation.
- Detailed understanding of Group Treasury's operations and liquidity management activities and the impact these have on the primary measures of BEN's financial resilience.
- Detailed understanding of balance sheet management, forecasting, stress testing and funds transfer pricing (FTP).
- Strong understanding of controls, compliance, and assurance principles.
- Skilled in building highly collaborative, strong working relationships.
Part of our independent second line of defence function, Financial Risk and Modelling (FR&M) develops and maintains balance sheet risk frameworks; providing policy direction, setting risk appetite, and delivering independent risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting.
The **Capital Funding and Liquidity Risk Manager** will be responsible for day-to-day oversight and analysis of the Bank's financial resilience and review and challenge of regulatory reporting to APRA.
The role will:
- Collaborate in the preparation and presentation of responses to senior management, APRA, Audit (internal and external) and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present papers and reports at various committees including the Risk Models Committee, executive management committees (e.g. ALMAC) and ad hoc liquidity requests from other committees (e.g. Pricing Committee).
- Contribute at times to broader Financial Risk and Modelling team initiatives.
