Working closely with the Assurance team members and Lead to support the CR&R business in various event and risk management activities. As part of the Assurance team, we are looking for people who are passionate about delivering fair outcomes for customers and innovating to become best practice in the complaints management space.

**This role is accountable for**:
Assisting in various risk management activities such as event management management, operational risk assesements, identifying control and process weakness within CR&R (both BAU & Change initiatives), ongoing control governance to provide visibility of the risks across the portfolio and their effective management including regular reporting to the Customer Resolution & Remediation Risk Management Forums.
Utilising Investigation and problem solving expertise to help the business manage incidents and events, and assist with root cause analyses and designing solutions to fix operational issues.
This role also promotes the development of a strong, effective and enduring risk management culture within CR&R. It involves working with the CR&R stakeholders across the various businesses to execute the required operational risk activities.
Helping the portfolio to document and monitor their risks, gain assurance through control attestation and monitoring of key risk metrics, and provide reporting and analysis to help the business determine actions needed to better manage risk and compliance effectively
Assisting the CR&R Business Assurance team to build strong collaborative relationships with partner businesses, change programs, Operational Risk & Compliance and Audit to identify opportunities to share and enhance operational risk and compliance practices.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience providing operational risk, compliance and assurance expertise
Great stakeholder management skills
Experience working in a highly regulated, closely oversighted business and developing and managing excellent stakeholder relationships
Ability to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
Experience in developing reporting and conducting in-depth analysis to support data driven and meaningful risk management discussions with operational teams
