**Job Description**:
An excellent opportunity is available for a Learning and Organisational Development Advisor to join the People and Culture at Australia’s pre-eminent biomedical research institute.

About the position

The Learning and Organisational Development Advisor works closely with the Learning and Organisational Development Manager to support learning and organisational development initiatives across the Institute in order to achieve the outcomes of the Institute’s strategic plan.

The People and Culture (P&C) Department partners with the departments and divisions of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research to deliver on its objectives, in particular to:
- educate and train the next generation of world class scientists and attract, develop and retain the best and brightest workforce; and- provide a vibrant and inspiring organisational culture that encourages, promotes and rewards excellence, creativity, mutual respect and collaboration.

Selection Criteria

Strategic and operational planning and delivery- Working with the Learning and Organisational Development Manager contribute to the development of learning and organisational development strategies for WEHI.

Program development and delivery- Manage WEHI’s employee development activities, including learning content development, engaging providers, workshop coordination and evaluation.- Administer WEHI’s learning management system (Workday Learning) and support users to develop and maintain best practice e-learning programs.- Support WEHI’s health and wellbeing program.- Assist in the development of learning and organisational development programs, ensuring alignment and support with diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Stakeholder relations- Maintain and build positive and productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals.- Collaborate with other departments/divisions to deliver learning and organisational development programs including the Student Education Office and Events and Communications teams.

Terms of appointment

This position is available in an ongoing part time capacity (0.6 FTE). Salary is PSE Level 7 ($94,222 - $101,996 pro rata). Up to 17% superannuation and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
