About the Role:


An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Health Information Management Officer within the Health Information Management Service.

The Health Information Management Officer is responsible to the Health Administration Advisor to provide support with Health Information Management activities across NALHN including the following functions:

  • Provide Health Information Management expertise and advice for various strategic initiatives, projects, policies and data management. Lead successful health information management related reviews and projects as required.
  • Coordinate and control the development and review of Health Information Management policies and procedures in accordance with legislation, standards and best practice requirements.
  • Coordinate and control the delivery of a health information and administrative professional development strategy for NALHN.
  • Undertake a project support role to the Health Administration Advisor and Health Information Management Service.
  • Coordinate and control the development and management of forms rationalisation and digitised medical records management.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and customer satisfaction.
