Join a large Home Care provider in a growing industry
- This role operates on a hybrid model
- 12-month fixed term contract

As the Head of split your time between working from home and the head office to attend meetings, facilitate learning and regular team collaboration.

**About the role**:
As the Head of People and Culture, you will use your extensive experience to coach divisional leaders on all facets of human resources and provide expert advice to achieve the business unit’s strategy. You will provide strategic leadership to the Home Care Service Coordination team, working in partnership with the Service Coordination Manager and Service Coordination Specialist to achieve and maintain an efficient and scalable operation with the scheduling of services for Home Care customers and rostering of Care Workers.

**Your role will involve**:

- Providing high-level Human Resources advice and coaching support to the Home Care and Retirement Villages Leadership teams on driving changes, navigating operating issues, and achieving strategic goals
- Working closely with the EGM and Leadership team to define the strategic People & Culture requirements for the commercial success of divisional business objectives.
- Working closely with the P&C Team to enhance quality service offerings and develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing input to the P&C team including projects regarding industrial relations, performance and development reviews and other HR functions and programs.
- Overseeing and managing matters with the Fair Work Commission and other regulatory bodies
- Providing strategic influence in the ongoing performance of the Service Coordination team.
- Acting as a point of escalation or support for complex and sensitive complaints for the business

**To be successful you will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Experience as a HR Business Partner and leading teams
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop divisional managers and team members to achieve strategic goals and objectives
- High level interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), negotiation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a values driven culture
- Advanced understanding of industrial instruments and legislative frameworks including best practice opportunities and negotiations
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Demonstrated experience in working within a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Current drivers licence with the ability to travel interstate as required.
