**Manager Signalling Commissioning & Reliability**:

Id: 5104- Date: 08-May-2023- Location: Brisbane, QLD, AU, 4000- Company: Queensland RailThis role will be responsible for Principles Testing and the development of appropriate reliability, testing and commissioning strategies, review and sign off of testing and commissioning plans that support and manage the processes for safety related railway signalling and operational systems.

**Some of the key focuses in this role**:

- Ensure legislative and RPEQ responsibilities for the testing and commissioning process.
- Development and production of documentation suites required for the implementation of test and commissioning plans for railway signalling and operational systems.
- Delivery of signalling commissioning documentation requirements.
- Produce data driven plans to maintain reliability of the signalling system
- Support the maintenance and operational teams by producing asset performance data and recommendations
- Ensure requirements are met for signalling commissioning systems and test plans.
- Provide leadership to a team of professionals and ensure appropriate succession planning and team development.

**About you**:

- Strong technical knowledge in testing and commissioning of signalling and operational systems with RPEQ responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of railway safe working principles.
- Proven leadership skills in managing a professional, client and business focused engineering team providing technical advice.
- High level of skill in interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills that build and sustain productive internal and external partnerships.
- High level of skill in working autonomously.
- Strong knowledge and experience in meeting statutory, regulatory and policy obligations, particularly in relation to satisfying the safety, environment, contract processes and human resources requirements in a commercially focused business.

**Qualification requirements**:

- Australian issued Bachelor Engineering - Electrical/Electronic or equivalence which is assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ).
