We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced data analytics professional to join our innovative and dynamic team. As a **BI Reporting & Analytics Specialist**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and security of our business systems data, building, and maintaining our reports and analytics.

**About the Role**:

- Work with ‘Big Data’, to create Analytics, Reporting and Dashboards to guide the business in its growth and oversight. Ability to question data, cleanse and map it to the stakeholders needs.
- Working with various internal and external stakeholders to create and maintain reporting and analytics across our business (Cognos, Phocas and Power BI).
- Provide foundational systems support and strategy across the business for all data repositories.
- Provide strategic guidance with data warehousing, data lakes and all repositories in support of our reporting, analytics and insights requirements.
- Assist the ERP team with Informix and core databases in support of corporate systems.
- Provide foundational database support including data mapping and definition across the current SQL systems including BI and Cognos databases in support of the BI team.
- Responsible for the development of logical data models.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma qualified in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Actuarial or IT (Maters or PHD high advantageous)
- 5+ years experience in Data Analytics and Modelling, customer profiling analytics, data modelling and engineering.
- Strong knowledge on Microsoft, its security model and auditing and compliance.
- Advanced SQL skills, Cognos Reporting, Power BI, Tableau
- Proven record of data mapping, dictionaries and architecting data stores for optimisation
- Creative thinking to find innovative and sound solutions for our internal or external customers.
