**The Organisation**

- You will be based at a 340-bed hospital that provides a wide array of services: primarily ambulatory care, including specialist medical and surgical outpatient services, and acute inpatient care. Last year the maternity department saw 1,951 babies born. The University of Queensland’s Rural Clinical School is also based at this hospital.
**The Job**
- As Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, you will be responsible for the provision of patient care, including antenatal clinic, gynaecology and colposcopy clinics, gynaecological surgery and caesarean sections, inpatient care and a consultation service
- You will provide quality clinical obstetric and gynaecological services for both inpatient and outpatient care
- This role will require you to provide outreach services to facilities across the health service
- You will participate in the on-call roster
- Share your knowledge and skills through participation in, and facilitation of education and research for medical students, junior medical officers, principal house officers, registrars, GP Obstetricians and senior medical staff
