**Job Description**:
Oaks Grand Apartments are looking for a Building Manager who is passionate about providing excellent customer service to lead the team on a full time basis.

The Building Manager has overall accountability for the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the property to maximize growth and profitability. The Building Manager is also accountable for Body Corporate and guest relationships within the property.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Maintain the number apartments under management and maintain effective relationships with all residents and owners
- Increase apartments under management by targeting owners of apartments in the property to enter into a letting agreement and manage the leasing of rental properties on behalf of owners
- Actively assist the Permanent Rent Roll department with open inspections and leasing documentation
- Maintain awareness of market rates for renting serviced apartments and advise Executive Manager/COO of changes to market conditions
- Allocate all owner and body corporate expenses to the appropriate area pursuant to Building Manager Agreement
- Ensure property is managed pursuant to Oaks Hotels & Resorts procedures and directives.
- Present as a spokesperson and advocate of the Oaks Resort & Hotel Management Group at all times in all dealings with owners, tenants, staff and body corporate

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful will require the following skills and experience**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Building Manager
- Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
- Strata management experience
- Strategic business acumen and commercial business knowledge
- A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
- The ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays if required
