**About the Role**:

- End to end maintenance of all school financials, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of bank accounts, end of month and end of year.
- Strategic management of the school financial resources.
- Reconciliation of accounts and corporate credit cards.
- Manage the billing and collection of school fees.
- Cashier and banking duties.
- Data entry.
- Annual budget & report preparation.
- Liaise and issue contracts to various providers.
- Coordination of property and building maintenance activities.
- General asset management.
- Staffing recruitment administration.
- Procurement.
- General administration functions
- A commitment to the safeguarding of children and promote a culture where student protection is the responsibility of everyone.
- A commitment to and understanding of the purpose and mission of the Catholic Church and Catholic schools.
- A commitment to uphold the expected standards of behaviour set out in BCE’s Code of Conduct, including our organisational values and all relevant policies and procedures.
- Initiative and attention to detail and be highly organised.
- Effective communicator dealing with various stakeholders.
- Sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with BCE finance system, Microsoft Dynamics D365 is desirable.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications at Associate Diploma/Diploma level or equivalent experience/qualifications.
- First Aide Certificate is desirable but not essential
- Previous or current experience in BCE school would be highly regarded.
- Environment administration management, accounting or similar is desirable.

- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
