Reporting to WA Transport & Customer Service Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:

- Effectively supervise all company fleet activity for fulltime, temp, permanent subcontractors, third party subcontractors to ensure planning is executed and deviations, delays and exceptions are dealt with according to priority and to legislative requirements.
- Lead all drivers through proactive supervision and teamwork. Communicate instructions accurately, encourage productivity, supervise any poor performing team members diplomatically and professionally. Chair toolbox meetings where appropriate.
- Coordinate compliance documentation and paperwork for all applicable Interstate road freight loads and drivers.
- Complete all relevant payroll administration for leave and absence for full time and temp employees and coordinate coverage for absenteeism where appropriate.
- Ensure all shipments are allocated and transmitted though MTDATA.
- Ensure all Deliveries are allocated and transmitted through MTDATA.
- Monitor driver performance in MTDATA compliance and ensuring entries are completed in full and support driver’s compliance with MTDATA.
- Accurate amendments of any shipments including rolling collections or removing Sales Orders from Shipments where required.
- Ensure all relevant afternoon loads for pickups and deliveries are booked accordingly, via normal customer processes and assist relevant Vic Local Team members where required in booking pickups or deliveries.
- Prompt and effective communications to other external stakeholders who require booking times for collections.

- Minimum 1 year experience in similar role within a Fleet environment

- Professional outlook dealing with customers and work colleagues demonstrating courteous and respectful behaviours
- A can do attitude
