KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain team leadership across the warehouse and fleet operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and accuracy are prioritised.
  • Be responsible for providing a safe working environment free of hazards by completing daily site/department inspections and implementing preventative and corrective actions.
  • Delivery on our service promise by ensuring targets are met for delivery on time and pick up's are on time
  • Coordinate the inbound/outbound operational movements.
  • Communication with the workshop to ensure fleet maintenance standards are maintained and downtime is kept to a mínimal.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies or improvements where possible.
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and OHS legislative requirements.
  • Be pivotal in customer relationship management ensuring customers are kept informed of any service issues.
  • Ensure all OHS legislative requirements are adhered to

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within transport managing a large fleet.
  • A broad understanding of transport laws, fatigue management and safety requirements.
  • A high level of literacy, numeracy and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated solid experience in supervising and coordinating staff.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading process development and improvement.
  • Exceptional Work Ethic.
  • Undertake medical including Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Good analytical, reporting, high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Be flexible with working hours to assist with operational needs of the business.
