Social Media Content Creator

Hairhouse has an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing Team within our Support Centre based in Doncaster. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Executive, the role will be responsible for delivering Hairhouse’s social media execution plan to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and traffic to our website and stores.
**The main responsibilities of the role include**:
- Creating content (videos, stills and graphics) for all social media platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn) in line with the Retail Trade Calendar
- Create and publish relevant, original, high-quality, on trend content featuring yourself and other key stakeholders
- Writing captions for all posts and scheduling using Social Media scheduling platform
- Sourcing supplier content when necessary
- Scheduling all content for Hairhouse National and Individual Franchisee store social media accounts
- Community Management for all social channels liking and responding to all comments and direct messages
- Assessing social media performance and metrics to ensure strong customer engagement and pivoting content plan when necessary for continual channel optimization
- Liaising with key stakeholders within the business to produce high quality, trending and educational social content
- Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Media & Communications (or similar)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- 1-2 Years experience filming Reels/TikToks
- Professional working knowledge of digital media, web content, storyboarding and shoot production
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Be comfortable in front of the camera to create videos and images to be used on each social media platform
- Work well in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Confident seeking out key stakeholders to appear or fact check content when necessary
- Ability to create ad-hoc content with quick turnarounds to stay on-top of social trends
- Have strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively both verbally and in writing
- Understanding of how to tweak organic content for paid social channels
