**Your New Role**

We're thrilled to announce two brand-new opportunities to join our Partnerships and Engagement team. As a **Partnership Specialist**, you will join a team of five dedicated Partnership Specialists, working together to promote the federal government funded Disability Gateway program. You will establish and strengthen connections with mainstream disability stakeholders and communities, as well as government departments, advocacy organisations, and peak bodies.

Role Terms: Based in **Glebe**, NSW. Hybrid role.

As a **Partnerships Specialist**, you'll play a pivotal role in advocating for our national Disability Gateway program, which acts as a central hub, connecting individuals with disabilities, their families, friends, and service providers to the support and resources they need. In this position, you'll enjoy the chance to travel interstate approximately once every two months, expanding your horizons and enriching your professional journey.

**Duties**
- ** Develop** key partnerships with **stakeholders**, establish referral **networks**, and directly **engage** with consumers to **drive** uptake of the **Disability Gateway program**:

- Participate in the **development** and design of **engagement** strategies, targeting key demographic cohorts including, but not limited to;** Aboriginal** and **Torres Strait Islander** peoples, people from Culturally and **Linguistically** **Diverse** (CALD) backgrounds, people that identify as **LGBTIQ+** as well as people living within** regional** and **remote** Australia.
- Develop and nurture **relationships** with relevant **stakeholders**, including **federal** and **state** peak bodies and partner **agencies** as well as **local** and **community**-based** providers.**:

- ** Attend** industry events and expos, to build **networks** and **promote** the program.
- ** Deliver presentations** about the Disability Gateway program to **organisations** and **individuals.**:

- ** Collaborate** with other **providers** across Australia to **deliver** target group **outreach** and** engagement.**

**Skills and Experience**

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

- A degree qualification in community services, health or business and/or relevant experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the community services sector, funding arrangements, and strategic partnerships that support business outcomes and growth opportunities.
- Exceptional influencing, collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD,
