**About the role**

**Essential requirements**:

- Must hold an Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) recognised Certificate of Competence to the level or above the level that the qualification, a relevant seafarer certificate, as master, engineering or deck officer issued under the Navigation Act 2012.
- Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week ‘Paid to Learn’ course.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry.

**Highly Desirable**:

- A higher-level qualification such as a Diploma of Maritime Operations or Engineering
- Previous experience in the offshore industry and/or working on tugs
