**The Opportunity**

Applications are invited from suitably qualified **Medical Practitioners** to work as a **Registrar** in the **Paediatric Emergency Department** at the **Women's & Children's Hospital**. This is a position in the **Paediatric Emergency Department** providing the incumbent with training opportunities in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. The PED sees over 45000 patients annually and is the State's Major Trauma Service for Paediatrics. There is an attached 12 bed Emergency Extended Care Unit (EECU) with over 5000 admissions annually. The department has a strong consultant led ethos. The department is accredited by both Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australian College for Emergency Medicine (18 months of training).
