As a Security Supervisor you will interact with the client, scholars, students, and members of the public in a highly visible role providing professional information services whilst ensuring the safety and security of people and assets.

As the primary liaison point you will be responsible for leading a professional team of Security Rovers to deliver accurate and timely response to all enquiries, incidents and developing operational efficiencies to improve performance.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Supporting, directing, and co-ordinating small to medium sized teams, including managing incidents and emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Preparing shift operational briefs and briefing staff.
- Foot Patrols of the campus to observe, report and mange incidents.
- Delivering excellent service performance standards at the campus, whilst developing operational efficiencies and improve performance.
- Work within ACU & ACESGroup WH&S guidelines.
- Observe facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety.
- Prepare general security records and reports.
- Manage and provide facility access control.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience supervising a small to medium size team.
- Customer service experience (demonstrated customer centric approach).
- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Exceptional personal presentation.
- Intermediate to advanced Computer Skills.
- NSW Security Licence 1A / QLD Security Licence Class 1 / VIC Security Licence Security/ ACT Security License - Guard and Crowd Controller.
- First Aid Certificate (current).
- RSA - Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (preferred) NSW Only (current).
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster across 7 Days.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
- White Card (or willing to obtain).
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain).
