Since 2001, NGA has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing NGA Special Purpose Aircraft (SPA) team comprises approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of 2x Boeing BBJ’s and 3x Dassault Falcon 7X’s.

**Your Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled **Supply Chain Manager** to lead supporting functions to ensure all activities are executed within budget, and meet customer, supplier and NGA timelines and deliverables.

As a member of the SPA Senior Leadership team, the Supply Chain Manager will have a robust understanding of Defence Subcontracting, Procurement and Logistics and will provide strategic leadership to support the Supply Chain team across the enterprise.

Partnering with the Commonwealth and NGA key stakeholders, this role will assist in developing the vision, support strategy, and execution to meet the goals of both the Commonwealth and NGA.

**About You**:
As an experienced Leader, you will bring a high level of commercial acumen and emotional intelligence, with a desire to drive best-practice outcomes. You will have expertise in engaging with the broader defence community, including key stakeholder management, along with your previous history of delivering superior customer service and project support to ensure objectives are met.

Key to success will be your significant experience across the Supply Chain spectrum including Subcontracts Management, Procurement and Logistics.

A highly refined relationship management and negotiation skillset will be essential to optimise value and achieve best outcomes for our customers and NGA.

Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or Commerce (or similar relevant qualifications) will be required, ideally backed by memberships to professional Supply Chain or Logistics associations.

This position is based at our office in Fairbairn, ACT.
