**Producer, Public Programs**

Be a part of the creative team that coordinates and develops the production and delivery of public programs across Museums of History NSW’s historically significant spaces. As the Producer, Public Programs you will utilise your planning and stakeholder management skills to meet the organisation’s strategic priorities, collaborating as part of a dynamic team.

**What the opportunity is**:

- Employment with Museums of History NSW.
- Clerk Grade 5/6. Remuneration package includes salary ($93,295 - $102,941), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Full-time temporary employment for a period up to 30 June 2025.
- The role will work across Sydney.

**What we do**
MHNSW brings together the museums, historic houses and associated collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums with the vast collection of more than 13 million items held by the former NSW State Archives. This includes one of the world’s most complete and important collections documenting colonisation.

**What you’ll do with us**
This role will drive audience centred programming to engage audiences through the delivery of public programs and online content that enables audiences to interact with Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) properties and programs.

**What you need to tell us - Targeted questions**:

- The role will support the Senior Producer with the development and delivery of integrated, strategic public programming across a range of themes and target audiences. Outline an example of a public program you have worked on describing the strategies put in place to ensure its successful delivery. Detail how your example meets the objectives of various stakeholders, as well as ensuring a quality audience experience.
- The role works across multi-disciplinary internal teams and with external stakeholders across 12 geographically dispersed sites. Describe how you have managed competing needs in a complex environment to deliver a program. What skills and systems did you employ to balance the demands of the position while delivering team, organisational and audience outcomes?

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Relevant qualifications and/or significant recent knowledge of and experience in the development and delivery of programs for audience development and engagement.
- Strong understanding of the role of public programming in audience development in a cultural institution or similar.
- Ability to manage lifting, carrying, standing, kneeling and moving around heritage sites, both internal and external environments is a genuine occupational requirement.
- Willingness to work across and ability to travel to multiple work locations.
- Valid / Current NSW Driver’s License.

**Also note**:

- A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for a period of up to 18 months.
