About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this important role will keep you busy with a diverse workload. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high levels of accounting and administration support to enable the business to exceed customer expectations and support meeting the overall business performance levels.
Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and receivable - processing and keeping accurate and up to date records
- Payroll - set up/terminate employees, process scheduled wages/salaries and year end ATO reporting
- Financial reporting - prepare mouth end reports, balance sheets, ledgers and profit & loss
- Administration - Maintain an effective filing system, manage stationary supplies and assist with adhoc requests
- Workplace safety & security - maintain a safe working environment at all times
Skills & experience
- Minimum 3 years Bookkeeping and Administration experience
- Knowledge of Payroll processing
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
- Strong work ethic
- High level attention to detail
- Organised, methodical and process driven
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask
