Key activities may include:

- Finalise sales results and ensure correct revenue recognition in conjunction with finance managers
- Carry out month end requirements for the business units, ensuring Corporate deadlines are met;
- Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, through causal analysis and other group reporting requirements;
- Prepare business performance and accounting reports as required, with particular focus on project reporting and labour analysis;
- Analyse accounts and investigate variances from budget and forecast;
- Participate in monthly forecasting process and annual budget process
- Preparation and review of various monthly project reports with operational managers focusing on costs, revenue and margin reporting
- Review the project portfolio and produce work-in-progress reports with variance analysis and commentary together with the finance manager
- Processing of month end journals where required
- Preparation of balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations and adjusting journals.
- Cash flow forecasting
- decisions.
- Commitment to Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements; and
- Any other duties directed by your manager.

Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Economics and formal studies required for membership as a CPA or CA;
- A proven background of financial management in an operation of significant size, project and contract accounting analysis is prefered;
- Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts with others;
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Effective organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills;
