The Role

This SAP Consultant, Procure to Pay role is a permanent part-time position of 3 days a week at our Rydalmere head office.

You will be responsible for managing and delivering IT projects and supporting / enhancing existing business processes and solutions to Rheem Australia group businesses. 

Your main area of focus will be processing improvement through the enhancement of existing platforms, namely SAP ECC in the Procure to Pay area supporting all other departments such as Manufacturing, Warehouse, Materials Management, Procurement, etc. while providing general consequential support services to Finance department.

More specific responsibilities are outlined below;

• Deliver agreed SAP solutions that meet our business requirements and achieve agreed outcomes using Industry Best practices. This involves configuring, developing, testing, and reviewing all software and configuration changes for seamless integration using SAP ECC platform, including setting up end-to-end P2P processes.
• Provide second level support for P2P related business applications users i.e. the highest level of support within Rheem Australia for the SAP environment.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP functionality and capability in P2P area which will enable you to make recommendations / initiate proposals regarding business process improvements / standardisation, opportunities for businesses to obtain greater value from IT solutions etc. Collaborate with other SAP Business Analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP Materials Management, SAP Sales and Distribution) and overall business processes.
• Assure the delivery of outsourced services on service related to ensure that service quality meets agreed expectations and contract conditions.
• Ensure compliance with a common system architecture and defined technology practices.
• Provide consultative services to business process owners and SMEs including managing project budgets, business case development, and strategic project identification.
• Ensure that systems integrity is maintained by the reviewed and controlled introduction of change into the environment.
• Train the trainers (key users) in the service business on implemented solutions.
• Learn and grow into other functional areas and applications (like S/4 HANA) in line with our digital transformation journey.
• Administer the user security system for SAP. This requires a detailed knowledge of user profiles and authorisation objects with SAP. The incumbent verifies all requests for additions, changes and deletions of authorisations for authenticity also ensuring conflicts are avoided. A detailed audit trail is maintained of changes made.   Assistance will be required from time to time in SAP security audits.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Formal qualifications in SAP modules (P2P and MM) would be preferred.
• Experience as a SAP Consultant in P2P and ECC
• Experience/exposure to S4 HANA
• Experience in the co-ordination and delivery of SAP training.
• Effective communication both verbal and written
• The ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
• Experience in the manufacturing industry advantageous
