**Event Coordinator - South Coast NSW**

Working closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be scheduling and planning the event calendar for a leading Australian equine training facility which hosts nationally recognised events.

Not only will you be programming recurring events but you will also be managing the hiring out of the venue through both inbound inquiries and positive profile building within the tourism, hotel, conferencing and events industries. This is one venue that has it all - stunning surrounds, excellent facilities and a professional team creating memorable events.

Your responsibilities will range from attraction to execution and include:

- Project manage assigned events from briefing and planning to execution
- Coordinate all operational and logístical elements of the event
- Coordinate attendee communications, ie guests, competitors, spectators
- Setting up event ticketing through Salesforce and Try Booking
- Manage ticket sales and reporting
- Organise all suppliers, catering, staff rosters, and entertainment
- Manage printing, signage and all other event collateral
- Manage bump in, bump out and clean-up of operations
- Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event

**What you will bring to the team**

To be successful in this role, there are a few things we are looking for:

- Self-starter who understands the position and creates opportunities to better the role with fresh ideas and innovative ways of undertaking it
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional presentation - being mindful that you are representing the business at all times
- Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure administrative tasks remain up to date
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & the Adobe suite

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bawley Point NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Event planning: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
